ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Product Description
Product Description-Neomycin Sulfate CAS#1405-10-3
Neomycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic and calcium channel inhibitor. It targets prokaryotic ribosomes to block protein synthesis, active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It also modulates PLC, PLD, PLA2 and calcium signaling, and inhibits DNase I-mediated DNA breakdown. Mainly for bacterial skin infections; ineffective against fungi and viruses.
Product Applications-Neomycin Sulfate CAS#1405-10-3
Used for the prevention and treatment of conditions such as dysentery, diarrhea, and stunted growth in livestock and poultry—including pigs, chickens, and cattle—caused by Escherichia coli or Salmonella infections. It can also be used to treat enteritis in fish and shrimp in aquaculture.
