ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Product Description

Product Description-Thiabendazole CAS#148-79-8

Thiabendazole (e.g., Teketol) is a highly effective broad-spectrum fungicide used worldwide. It shows systemic acropetal (apical) conductivity but no basipetal transport, provides long-lasting protection, and exhibits cross-resistance with benzimidazole fungicides.

It inhibits a wide range of fungi including Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes and Deuteromycetes, and is widely used to control fungal diseases in crops and to preserve fruits and vegetables.

Product Applications-Thiabendazole CAS#148-79-8

Thiabendazole is a high-efficiency, broad-spectrum, long-lasting systemic fungicide with extensive international use. Applied to roots it is transported upward to the plant top but not downward to the base; it can also be foliarsprayed at a recommended rate of 2.25–3.75 g active ingredient/hm².

It controls various fungal diseases and root rot in crops with both preventive and therapeutic effects, and is widely used against storage diseases of citrus, apples, pears and bananas. Postharvest treatment typically uses a 500–1000 mg/L or 700–1500 mg/L solution, depending on the fruit.
