Monopotassium Phosphate CAS#7778-77-0

Promotes nitrogen and phosphorus uptake: Potassium dihydrogen phosphate facilitates the absorption of nitrogen and phosphorus by crops, provides rapid phosphorus supplementation, increases crop yield and thousand-grain weight, and plays a specialized role during critical physiological stages of crop development.

Enhances photosynthesis: Potassium plays a key role in crop growth by strengthening photosynthesis and accelerating the production and transformation of nutrients.

Improves stress resistance: Potassium dihydrogen phosphate enhances a crop's ability to withstand various stressors, including drought, hot dry winds, waterlogging, frost, physical damage (by promoting healing), and pathogen infection.

Enhances fruit quality: Application during the fruit-expansion stage helps retain and strengthen fruit, promotes enlargement, improves overall quality, enhances coloration, and refines flavor.

Regulates balanced crop growth: Acting as a growth regulator, potassium dihydrogen phosphate promotes flower bud differentiation, increases the number of blooms, ensures robust flower buds, strengthens blossoms, aids in fruit retention, improves fruit set, and effectively stimulates root system development.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Product Description

Product Description-Monopotassium Phosphate CAS#7778-77-0

Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (chemical formula KH2PO4) is a high-concentration phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizer, containing 52% P2O5 and 34% K2O[2]. It has low hygroscopicity, good physical properties, and is highly soluble in water—23 grams can dissolve in 100 milliliters of water at 20°C—resulting in an acidic aqueous solution.

Product Applications-Monopotassium Phosphate CAS#7778-77-0

As feed phosphorus additives; In the food industry, it is used for the manufacture of baked goods, for leavening agent, flavoring agent, fermentation additives, nutritional fortifiers, yeast food. Also used as a buffer, chelating agent.

It can be used as fertilizer, flavoring agent and the culture agent of brewing yeast; used for the preparation of buffer solution, also used in medicine and manufacturing of potassium metaphosphate.

It can be used for the fertilization of rice, wheat, cotton, rape, tobacco, sugar cane, apple and other crops.

It can be used as chromatography reagents and buffer, but also for the synthesis of medicine.

As a highly efficient fertilizer, it is suitable for all kinds of soil and crops. It can also used as a bacterial culture agent, the flavoring agent for the synthesis of sake and the raw material for making potassium metaphosphate. In medicine, it is used for the uric acidification as a nutritional agent.

Used as feed nutritional supplements; As a quality improver, it has effects of improving the complexation metal ions and pH value, increasing the ionic strength of food, and thus improving the adhesion and water holding capacity of food. China provides that it can be used for wheat flour with the maximum usage amount of 5.0g/kg and 2.0 g/kg in the beverage.
