Sodium Xylene Sulfonate is a white-to-pale yellow liquid surfactant with excellent water solubility. At 20°C, its 1% aqueous solution features a pH of 7.0, a viscosity of 10 mPa·s and a kinematic viscosity of 2.7 mm²/s.
It functions as a coupling agent, solubilizer, dispersant, emulsifier, hydrotrope, viscosity regulator and detergent booster.
