ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Product Description

Product Description-ISOCYANIC ACID CAS#75-13-8

Isocyanates, derivatives of isocyanic acid (HNCO) with the R−N=C=O structure, fall into four groups: alkyl monoisocyanates, substituted phenyl monoisocyanates, αsubstituted alkyl isocyanates and polyisocyanates. Typical varieties include TDI, MDI, IPDI, PAPI and HDI. Most conventional isocyanates are colorless or pale yellow liquids with a sharp odor; their physical properties differ with molecular structures.

Product Applications-ISOCYANIC ACID CAS#75-13-8

Isocyanates find their largest application in polyurethane manufacturing. Polyurethanes synthesized from TDI, MDI, HMDI and other raw materials are widely used in auto components, shoe soles, artificial leather, coatings, adhesives and thermal insulation, as well as paints. Additionally, isocyanates serve for manufacturing crop protection agents, pesticides, herbicides, plant growth regulators and anti-tumor drugs. Industrially, isocyanate polymers are also applied to produce pigments, resins, textile water repellents, plastics, detergents, foams, elastomers, adhesives and coatings.
